Marketing & Proposal Coordinator

About the Position

As a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our marketing initiatives and bid management activities. You will assist in creating compelling marketing material, managing social media campaigns, and coordinating bid documentation. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative person with a passion for marketing and technology, looking to grow their career in  fast-paced, innovative IT environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a role that covered both Marketing and Tenders (Bid’s).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven creative capabilities (portfolios of evidence may be requested).

Specific skills / knowledge / experience

  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, and bid coordination, ideally within the IT or technology sector.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent administration capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CRM, Zoho) or similar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure timeous delivery of all marketing activities.
  • Monitor and report on marketing and bid performance metrics, , utilising the respective applications and or systems.
  • Building of PoE (Proof of Execution) documents, submission & follow up of outstanding claims against the specific funding vendor.
  • Manage the company’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and engagement with our audience.
  • Assist in the preparation, editing, and design of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, infographics and newsletters.
  • Maintain and update the company’s SharePoint with relevant marketing and bid information, ensuring at all time that documents are up to date and relevant.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of events (internal as well as external).
  • Manage promotional gifts and activities within set budgets. Produce creative ideas for events, gifts and branding
  • Assist with the coordination of the bid process, including the preparation, compilation, and submission of high-quality proposals and tender documents.
  • Work closely with the Bid Manager, Sales and Technical teams to gather information and create tailored bid responses.
  • Formatting and posting of job advertisements on the CoCre8 website and recruitment portals e.g., LinkedIn.
