About the Position
CoCre8 Technology Solutions, based in Midrand, Johannesburg is interested in applicants who have good understanding and knowledge of the IT Market in SA as well as the rest of Africa.
The role holder will own and drive the Kodak Alaris Digital Transformation business within CoCre8 to maintain and strengthen our partner-based go-to-market strategy. Help grow the channel partner landscape in South Africa and specific African countries to increase the success of our partners as well as that of CoCre8.
Develop and execute sales and channel strategies, expanding the customer base, driving skills development and enhancing the partner and alliances landscape. Become a trusted advisor at C level to our partners and customers and work with the CoCre8 COO to define Kodak Alaris Digital Transformation associated value propositions and offerings, provide thought leadership and help define and execute on the strategy.
The role is that of a technical advisor, 50% of this role is to manage the Kodak business with Distribution, Partners and client, and 50% sales.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Information Technology.
- 8 – 12 years working experience in IT industry.
- Own transport and valid driver’s license essential.
- Flexible to travel occasionally both nationally and internationally.
- Good presentation skills.
- Public speaking skills.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain and grow the CoCre8 business in South Africa with emphasis on Kodak product portfolio and solutions
- Own and drive Alliance Management activities with the OEM, including business reviews, sales reporting and marketing activities;
- Establish a direct engagement with the client-base and the respective Kodak partners and build relationships at strategic levels;
- Demonstrate CoCre8’s ability to architect and develop Kodak related solutions in line with the clients’/partners requirements (Trusted Advisor);
- Leverage Kodak relationship and proactively position it in the South African market;
- Identifies, manages and develops channel partners;
- Possesses relationship management techniques to develop selling opportunities within partner organizations; penetrating new divisions and organizations within assigned partner account; developing new selling relationships within assigned partner account;
- Schedules and attends sales call appointments with a prospect in partner organisation;
- Utilizes a consultative approach, discussing business issues with prospect and developing a formal quote, a written sales proposal or a formal sales presentation addressing their business needs;
- Responds to RFP’s and follow up with customers/end users;
- Builds and strengthens business relationships with multiple complex stakeholders;
- Recommends go to market strategies;
- Provides status information to his Manager including forecast/pipeline information;
- Presents, explains, enables, and interacts with channel partners and end users.
- Develops account plans and account mapping with partners;
- Develops and recruits new accounts and tier one partners (system integrators) in the focused markets;
- Drives Proof of Concepts from a sales perspective and aligns performance checklists with the customer;
